Underwriting Assistant – Insurance | Hybrid – Central London Office (3–4 days/week) | Specialty Insurance (Entertainment) | Salary up to £35,000
Join a dynamic and growing London Market MGA that specialises in providing insurance solutions to the entertainment industry. This is a unique opportunity to support a specialist underwriting team operating in one of the most exciting and creative sectors of insurance.
Your role: provide essential administrative and technical support to the underwriting team, helping ensure the smooth handling of new business, renewals, endorsements, and policy servicing. You’ll work closely with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders to maintain accurate records, deliver excellent service, and contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue policy documents, endorsements, and certificates
- Assist with risk assessment and underwriting information gathering
- Maintain complete, compliant, and audit-ready underwriting files
- Respond to broker queries and escalate where necessary
- Produce and quality-check monthly Risk & Premium Bordereaux
- Support internal reporting and MI requests
- Ensure data accuracy in internal systems
- Help meet SLAs by managing workflow and priorities
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (KYC, sanctions, etc.)
