Senior Catastrophe Analyst | London Market Insurer | London/Hybrid | £45 – 60,000 (doe)
Finitas are delighted to be supporting an established London Market Insurer in their search for a Senior Catastrophe Analyst to join their team. You will be working on a variety of lines of business with a focus on Non-Natural Catastrophe Risk, notably on Political Violence.
You will be responsible for the cleansing, uploading and management of data into external modelling tools. You will also be using modelling tools to facilitate the pricing and underwriting of business and the monitoring of aggregate accumulations.
Experience required:
- Minimum 2 years experience working in catastrophe modelling or aggregation management.
- Must have experience of working in the London insurance market.
- Excellent IT skills with strong knowledge of SQL.
- Proven experience with regulator reporting and aggregation techniques.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Degree educated – a numerical degree with a classification of 2:1 or above.
Please note you will be required to work in their London office 2/3 days per week.
