This year, we’re thrilled to offer an exciting and hands-on voluntary work experience opportunity for students. We’ll be hosting two groups of six students in the weeks commencing the 13th of July 2026 and the 10th of August 2026. You’ll get to spend a week with us at Finisterre’s St Agnes HQ, working across different departments to get a real-life understanding of how we create our products. From workshopping design ideas to learning the process products go through before being made and sold online and in our shops, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at the entire journey.

By spending time with all of our teams, you’ll gain valuable insight into each stage of the process and see how all the departments work together to deliver something amazing. This is a great opportunity to work alongside industry professionals, learning the importance of collaboration at every stage. So, if you are as passionate about the ocean as we are, if you embody our values to be Brave, Honest and Driven, if you want to experience a truly authentic, purpose-led brand, with the vision to create exceptional products in a responsible way, then we would love to hear from you.

Requirements

  • Availability: You must be available for the week commencing either 13th of July 2026 or the 10th of August 2026. Each group will join us for a week-long experience, Monday to Friday, at our St Agnes (Cornwall) headquarters. You’ll need to be able to make your own way to and from our offices.
  • Age: You must be a student aged over 16 and in current education (secondary, further or higher education).
  • Interest in Finisterre and what we do: We’re looking for students who are enthusiastic about Finisterre and passionate about what we do within the retail industry. • Passion for Sustainability: Finisterre is committed to sustainability, so we would love to hear from students who are passionate about making a positive impact in the fashion industry.
  • Teamwork: You’ll be working alongside other students and Finisterre’s professional teams, so we’re looking for students who are collaborative, positive, with a professional approach and enjoy working in teams.
  • Commitment: To make the most of this opportunity we would encourage you to attend for the full week and actively engage with all activities.
  • Ability to Follow Instructions: As you’ll be rotating through different departments, we need students who can take direction, ask questions when needed, and follow tasks accurately.
