ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for retail professionals to join the Finisterre team at our fantastic Bristol store. The role of Senior Retail Crew is the next rung on the ladder of our retail development path. This role is critical to drive sales by the delivery of exceptional customer experience that exceeds expectations, standards and operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customer Experience: Actively find solutions to enhance customer experience throughout the store. Create an engaging customer relationship, through sharing genuine experience, personal interests and adventure as well as deep brand knowledge. Understand and communicate our POD within our product range authentically through brand and technical knowledge. Openness and honesty in all situations and take appropriate actions where necessary to ensure a high standard of customer service. Build a loyal customer base and positive relationships throughout the Finisterre community, champion your store as a community hub both within our own events and externally.
  • Commercial: Contribute to the commercial success of the store through delivering sale targets and KPI’s. Rising to the challenging targets, embracing change and walking through the door with a positive attitude. Exceed customers’ expectations and maximise sales potential through our multi-channel offer effectively. Contribute to the timely execution of all launches, promotions and campaigns in store. Manage the shop floor effectively in the absence of management team.
  • Operations: Responsible as required, for the open and closure of the store, making sure all store assets and the site are fully secured. Accurately follow cash management procedures and make sure all cash handling is documented and signed for. Optimise conversion through ensuring that visual merchandising and presentation guidelines are followed at all times. Maintain high security through service, shop floor awareness and ensuring all security measures are adhered to. Ensure all health and safety policies are adhered to at all times. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping throughout the store and back of house. Ensure that the shop floor is always fully stocked through effective use of our replenishment systems. Contribute to the continuous improvement of operations, always seeking better more efficient practices and feeding back to store managers on potential changes.
  • People: Be an inspiration for your store team, motivate, train and support the people around you to be at the top of their ability. Be responsible for own personal development and actively seek opportunities for improvement through internal and external sources. Adhere to all current policy and procedure laid out by Finisterre. We are offering a part time, permanent contract, based at our Bristol store. We’ll invest in you an hourly wage of £13.70. But it’s not just a job.
