The opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our Private Client team in London.
You will be responsible for acquiring, developing and growing relationships with some of FINE+RARE's most valuable private clients, combining deep fine-wine expertise with strong commercial judgement and exceptional service.
This is a highly relationship-led role.
You will spend time getting to know your clients, understanding their collections, interests and objectives, and advising them across the full F+R buy-store-sell journey.
Alongside developing existing relationships, you will take ownership of new business development and play an important role in growing F+R's presence within the market.
- What you'll be doing
- Build, develop and grow long-term relationships with key private clients, providing expert advice across sourcing, drinking, collecting, cellar development and resale.
- Take ownership of annual sales targets, client growth, new business development, acquisition and referral opportunities.
- Source exceptional wines based on client demand and market opportunities, drawing on F+R's extensive global supplier network.
- Develop structured product pipelines for key clients, identifying opportunities to deepen engagement and increase long-term client value.
- Use Hub Spot, Power BI and client and sales data to manage performance, identify opportunities and inform commercial decision-making.
- Maintain a strong presence in the market through regular client meetings, tastings, events and other F+R brand initiatives.
- Deliver an exceptional client experience and take ownership of issues through to resolution, working closely with teams across the business.
- Maintain strong commercial discipline across client accounts, including proactive management of outstanding balances and cash collection.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience managing, developing and growing high-value client relationships, with a strong track record of commercial performance.
- Extensive fine-wine product knowledge and market experience, ideally with WSET Level 4 Diploma or equivalent, together with a working knowledge of fine spirits.
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to identify, develop and convert client and new business opportunities.
- The credibility, confidence and communication skills to build trusted relationships with knowledgeable and experienced collectors.
- Strong analytical capability and confidence using data to understand client behaviour and commercial performance.
- Proficiency with Power BI and Excel, together with experience using CRM systems; Hub Spot experience would be advantageous.
- A proactive, collaborative and client-focused approach, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and changing commercial environment.
