An exciting opportunity to take on an important leadership role within an NHS provider in the South East of England.
As Deputy Commercial Director, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the Trust realise their potential and in the success of their commercial function. You will lead the development and implementation of the Trust’s commercial strategy, driving opportunities through innovation and transformation to deliver quality improvement, revenue growth and cost benefits. You will be responsible for developing key internal and external relationships, working across the organisations and the wider system to horizon scan for potential commercial opportunities. You will provide support and guidance to colleagues in all matters relating to the Trust’s commercial activities.
As a suitable candidate you will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a commercial role, either in health or wider public sector, with knowledge of the commercial and contractual mechanisms within this arena. We are seeking a skilled, rounded and highly commercial leader who can inspire, motivate and lead high performing teams. You will be a strategic thinker, able to deal with complexity and achieve solutions through your innovative and entrepreneurial mindset. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate at Board level and build credibility with senior colleagues and stakeholders.
