A fast-scaling fintech company on a mission to make financial wellbeing accessible to everyone is searching for a Marketing Design Lead to take full ownership of their brand’s visual identity. Already trusted by major employers such as the NHS, the company empowers people to feel confident and in control of their money – helping them save for a first home, plan for retirement, and reach their life goals faster. This is a rare opportunity to shape how thousands of employees and hundreds of businesses experience a brand that’s genuinely improving lives.

The company is growing rapidly and needs a creative leader to bring their story to life visually. As Marketing Design Lead, you’ll be responsible for the look and feel of every marketing touchpoint – from digital campaigns and social content to event materials and web design. This is a high-impact role where creativity meets strategy. You’ll evolve a brand that already resonates with users while pushing it to new levels of clarity, recognition, and emotional connection.

Working across teams in marketing, product, sales, and customer success, you’ll ensure that every asset – whether seen by a potential customer, partner, or employer – tells a consistent, compelling story. At its heart, this role is about ownership. You won’t just design within the brand – you’ll lead its evolution. You’ll be responsible for ensuring visual excellence and cohesion across all formats and channels, including:

  • Visual Brand Ownership – Lead all design output across digital, print, motion, and social. Maintain and evolve design systems and brand guidelines that scale with growth.
  • Campaign Design – Develop creative concepts that build trust, recognition, and engagement throughout the customer journey. Use insight and research to ensure every design decision has strategic purpose.
  • Multi-channel Execution – Deliver hands-on design work for social media, PR, website content, events, and sales materials – bringing creative consistency across every medium.
  • Project Management – Juggle multiple projects with independence and precision. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure assets are delivered on time and to brief.
  • Team Coordination – Oversee external freelancers and agencies where needed, balancing big-picture brand thinking with day-to-day creative delivery.

The ideal candidate will be a versatile designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll have at least three years’ experience in design roles with a portfolio that shows variety across digital, print, and brand work. You’ll be fluent in tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, with bonus points for motion design, video editing, or AI-generated creative skills. Most importantly, you’ll have an instinct for translating complex ideas into clear, emotionally engaging visuals – with an exceptional design eye and a deep understanding of user experience principles.

If you’re looking for a role where you can shape the visual direction of a purpose-driven brand and see your work directly impact thousands of people’s financial futures, this is it. Our client offers a collaborative, ambitious culture where initiative is rewarded and creativity thrives. You’ll join a mission-led business at a pivotal stage of growth, with the freedom to experiment, influence, and lead.
