Already a trusted partner to major employers such as the NHS, the company is scaling rapidly and needs a technically skilled marketer to own and optimise their CRM systems, driving engagement, conversion, and retention across both B2B and B2C audiences. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a CRM specialist who thrives in fast-paced, startup environments.
The CRM Marketing Lead will take full ownership of the company’s CRM strategy and execution, building robust workflows, segmenting audiences, and ensuring that every touchpoint delivers meaningful engagement. Working closely with product, sales, data, and marketing teams, this role focuses on the operations and infrastructure of the CRM system, enabling the wider marketing function to deliver successful campaigns.
The ideal candidate is highly technical, comfortable with data, and able to optimise complex automation and lifecycle workflows. They will not be responsible for creating campaign content but will ensure that all CRM-driven communications are effectively designed, automated, and targeted to maximise results.
Key responsibilities include:- CRM strategy and execution: Own the end-to-end CRM roadmap, building campaigns and automations that support the full customer lifecycle across B2B and B2C audiences.
- Data-driven optimisation: Use segmentation, customer insights, and testing to design effective user journeys, continuously improving campaign performance.
- CRM platform expertise: Manage and optimise marketing automation tools, primarily HubSpot, and leverage technical capabilities to improve workflows and reporting.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with product, sales, customer success, and marketing teams to understand their needs and translate them into CRM-driven processes and campaigns.
- Reporting and analytics: Monitor campaign performance, track KPIs, and provide insights to guide future strategy and optimisation.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 4+ years’ experience in CRM or marketing automation roles, with proven success designing and executing end-to-end customer journeys.
- Deep technical expertise with CRM platforms, preferably HubSpot.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with Excel and data wrangling; SQL skills are a plus.
- A test-and-learn mindset, using data and insights to optimise workflows and campaign performance.
- The ability to translate customer insights into actionable automations and targeted journeys.
- A collaborative approach, working effectively across teams without being responsible for content creation.
- High-agency, self-starter mentality, thriving in a fast-paced startup environment.
