Senior Platform Engineer (AWS Serverless)

Up to £85K p/a + benefits

The Company

A startup building intelligent vision systems hiring a new Belfast-based engineering team.

The Role

You’ll lead their infrastructure efforts… greenfield work shaping internal tooling, building AWS Serverless infrastructure, and owning platform reliability, cost optimization etc. There will be a lot of collaboration with the wider business, working closely with the engineering team to define best practices, and build a platform that supports short/long-term scale. You will report to the CTO, and you’ll be the infrastructure expert within the business.

The Person

• Ideally 7+ years’ experience working across infra, devops, or platform.
• Strong experience with AWS Serverless, ideally CDK in production environments.
• Comfortable with scripting and Git-based workflows.
• Proven track record owning cloud infrastructure from design to deployment.
• Experience in a high growth startup would be ideal.
