We are looking to recruit a Head of Sales Administration who will oversee the running of the company’s Sales Administration team and the day to day running of the London Admin Team, whilst providing administration support to a London office.
About the role:
- Full management of the Sales Administration Teams.
- Organise and manage the team to obtain consistently strong Sales audit scores – over 90%.
- Run and organise the recruitment of new administrators, including interviewing and admin test.
- Oversee the training and development of new administrators and provide continuous coaching.
- Act as a mentor to develop the members of the team.
- Be an expert in their field who can confidently answer sales queries from other branches.
- Act as first point of contact for Sales administrative queries.
- Develop and adapt the London Sales Admins to support the needs of the London Sales business.
- Develop and adapt the Country Sales Admins to support the needs of the London Sales business.
- Continue to bring the two teams together to work more collaboratively.
- Involved with collating data and reporting on business activity.
- Managing the branch audit process with the Business Services Team.
- Once trained, be able to ensure all Admins have a good understanding of iNexus (reporting software).
- Oversee administrators holiday within the London region and ensuring there is always sufficient cover.
- Demonstrates a willingness to help with projects and administration duties for other branches.
- Able to work autonomously and with little/no instruction.
- Is proactive in identifying issues and vocal about sharing ideas to improve the business.
- Is a leader in creating procedures to maximise organisation and efficiency in the office.
- Ensure all the team are up to date with their training courses (iLearn).
- Arrange regional admin meetings (min 2 per year) and monthly Teams calls.
- In addition to your ‘base office’ you will be expected to travel to your other office(s) as necessary for the fulfilment of your role.
- Ensure the smooth day to day running of your own office, the London Sales Admin team and oversee the smooth running of the Country Admin Team with the Area Admin Manager.
Skills and experience:
- Previous experience of managing a team.
- The understanding of HR processes a benefit.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including the Senior Leadership Team.
- Previous experience within an administrative setting.
- Smartly presented and able to handle a public facing role, both face to face and over the telephone.
- The ability to prioritise and manage a number of tasks simultaneously, to ensure nothing is missed, and all electronic files are kept in good order.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literate and a good understanding of Microsoft Office suite.
