The Oracle EPM FDMEE/Data Management role is critical in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timely delivery of financial data across the organization. This position is responsible for managing and optimizing data flows into the Oracle EPM suite, specifically focusing on Financial Data Quality Management, Enterprise Performance Management, and data integration tasks. The individual will work closely with finance, IT, and business analysts to design, implement, and support data management strategies that align with organizational goals. As the data landscape evolves and the need for real-time analytics increases, the Oracle EPM FDMEE/Data Management professional will serve as a key contributor in transforming financial data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. The role also includes the continuous enhancement of data processes and systems, promoting data governance and compliance. Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential, as the role involves interfacing with various stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver impactful solutions consistently.

Key Responsibilities

  • 8 to 10 years of strong technical experience in design and implementation of Oracle EPM FDMEE and EPM Cloud Data Management solutions.
  • Delivery of project through Oracle EPM Landscape. This includes the following phases:
  • Requirements gathering
  • Writing functional specifications & technical design documents
  • Build
  • Testing
  • Implementation
  • Understand emerging business requirements and drive the project roadmap to deliver solutions aligned with the business goals.
  • Assist in the delivery of proof of concept for solutions benefiting the close process.
  • Extensive experience in integrating multiple ERP source systems with EPM Cloud.
  • Must have comprehensive experience of having designed applications in FDMEE with multiple sources and targets integrated.
  • Takes a structured and effective approach to their own work and demonstrates using Oracle EPM best practices.
  • Able to analyze, diagnose, design, plan, execute, and evaluate work to time, cost, and service targets, exhibiting the application of available methods, procedures, tools, equipment, and standards associated with own area of specialization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Technical Skills

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with EPM FDMEE/or Data Management in the cloud and ODI or experience with multiple complicated integration migrations.
  • Configure and maintain data mappings, data load rules, and validation rules in FDMEE/Data Management to support financial consolidation and reporting requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data loads, mappings, and validations in FDMEE/Data Management, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Experience of developing complex SQL queries and procedures.
  • Individuals should have development experience in FDMEE (specifically Python/Jython scripting).
  • Good knowledge of security management in Oracle EPM Cloud and on-premises applications.
  • Understanding of the financial close cycle and related best practices.
  • Experience with data integration from different sources.
  • Expertise in gathering, understanding incident background, mapping, and recreating incidents, and translating root cause into a workable solution.
  • Good understanding of the financial principles of consolidated group accounts.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of complex financial services environments.
  • Holistic appreciation of the Oracle EPM Cloud project life cycle.
  • Knowledge on Oracle EPM FDMEE/Cloud Data Management, HFM/FCCS, Planning.
  • Awareness of the entire Oracle EPM BI toolset.
  • Experience in SmartView for Office products.
  • Good to have certification (FCCS/HFM/Planning).
