Find Core are thrilled to be assisting an award-winning multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with the recruitment of a Structural Engineer.
Permanent position.
This role will be based at the company’s Sheffield office.
The successful candidate will work across a varied portfolio of residential, commercial and industrial projects, working alongside experienced Civil and Structural Engineers.
Salary Competitive salary, depending on experience + twice-yearly salary reviews + additional benefits Key Responsibilities Assist with the structural design of steel, concrete, portal frame and traditional building structures.
Prepare and review structural calculations and technical drawings.
Use structural design software to support engineering calculations.
Work closely with CAD Technicians and other Engineers to develop project designs.
Consider practical engineering, buildability and construction requirements throughout the design process.
Prepare technical reports and project documentation.
Coordinate with Civil, Geotechnical and other engineering disciplines.
Attend project and client meetings where required.
Support junior members of the engineering team as experience develops.
