Permanent, full-time position based in Shrewsbury.
Salary
£35,000 – £60,000 OTE, depending on experience and performance + uncapped commission + additional benefits
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive sales professional to join a successful dealership representing a range of new and used vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to vehicle handover
- Sell both new and used vehicles
- Build strong relationships with customers and understand their requirements
- Present vehicles confidently and explain key features and benefits
- Arrange and conduct test drives
- Follow up telephone, email and online enquiries
- Negotiate deals and convert enquiries into sales
- Work towards agreed individual and dealership sales targets
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records
- Deliver a high standard of customer service throughout the sales process
- Work closely with the wider dealership team to ensure a smooth customer journey
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 1 year of previous car sales experience required
- Strong track record within automotive sales
- Confident dealing with customers face-to-face, over the phone and by email
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercially minded and motivated by earning potential
- Strong organisation and follow-up skills
- Comfortable working as part of an established sales team
- Good general computer skills
- Full UK driving licence required
