Sales Designer in Sheffield

FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established interiors business with the recruitment of a Sales Designer.

Permanent, full-time position based in Sheffield.

This is a customer-focused sales and design role, working closely with clients to understand their requirements and create tailored kitchen and interior solutions from initial consultation through to installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to understand their design requirements, preferences and budgets.
• Create detailed kitchen and interior designs using CAD and design software.
• Present design concepts clearly and guide customers through available options.
• Recommend suitable materials, finishes, appliances and accessories.
• Identify opportunities to upsell complementary products and upgrades.
• Manage customer enquiries and maintain regular follow-up throughout the sales process.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors and installation teams.
• Maintain accurate project records and customer information.
• Keep up to date with design trends, product ranges and new solutions.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service from initial consultation through to completion.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience within kitchen design, interior design, furniture design or a similar sales/design role.
• Strong customer-facing and consultative sales skills.
• Experience using CAD, SketchUp or similar design software.
• Confident presenting designs and recommendations to customers.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Good numerical ability for measurements, quotations and project costs.
• Commercially minded with the ability to convert enquiries into sales.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle required.
