Job Description FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established fire and security business with the recruitment of a Fire Alarm Project Manager.
Permanent, full-time position based in Glasgow, covering projects across the Central Belt.
Salary
£50,000 – £55,000, depending on experience + travel expenses + additional benefits
Key Responsibilities
- Manage fire alarm projects from initial planning through to completion.
- Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, clients and suppliers.
- Manage project programmes, budgets and resources.
- Review drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Oversee installation, testing and commissioning.
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with relevant standards, including BS 5839.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and client handovers.
- Monitor project progress and resolve issues as they arise.
- Maintain strong communication with clients throughout delivery.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience managing fire alarm projects.
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems and BS 5839.
- Experience coordinating installation and commissioning works.
- Good project management and organisational skills.
- Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets.
- Confident communicating with clients, engineers and subcontractors.
- Relevant fire, electrical or engineering qualifications would be advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence required.
