Find Core are thrilled to be assisting a growing electrical services company with the recruitment of multiple Electricians.
Permanent , full-time positions.
The work will be allocated according to each electrician’s home location, with opportunities available across Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, the wider East Midlands and the Shrewsbury area.
Salary Negotiable Salary + annual bonus + overtime + company van + fuel card + tools + additional benefits Working Hours Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm Some flexibility may be available around working hours.
Key Responsibilities Carry out electrical installation work within domestic and social-housing properties.
Complete electrical repairs, maintenance and fault-finding duties.
Undertake Electrical Installation Condition Reports and associated testing.
Complete approximately three to four EICR inspections per day when required.
Identify electrical faults and recommend or complete appropriate remedial work.
Set out jobs from drawings, specifications and work instructions.
Identify and requisition the materials required for each installation.
Complete electrical certification accurately and within required timescales.
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Communicate professionally and respectfully with tenants, clients and other residents.
Maintain accurate digital job records using the company-provided tablet.
Follow company health and safety procedures at all times.
Skills Experience Valid JIB or ECS Gold Card.
Current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
Valid City Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification or equivalent.
Previous experience working within domestic properties is essential.
Experience within social housing, occupied homes or responsive maintenance would be highly advantageous.
Strong electrical installation, inspection, testing and fault-finding skills.
Ability to complete EICRs accurately and efficiently.
Comfortable working independently and managing a daily schedule of appointments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Professional and respectful approach when working in customers’ homes.
Full UK driving licence.
Eligible to work in the UK.
Asbestos awareness and a valid DBS check would be advantageous, although support may be available where required.
