FindCore are thrilled to be assisting a fast-growing customer support business with the recruitment of a Customer Support Advisor.
About the Role
This is a permanent, fully office-based role in Altrincham. Monday - Friday. This is a volume telephone role supporting predominantly older customers. The right person will be confident on the phone, comfortable working at pace and, above all, patient, compassionate and genuinely good with people.
Responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound customer calls each day.
- Speak with new enquiries and understand each customer’s individual circumstances.
- Explain the company’s service clearly, patiently and professionally.
- Support older customers who may need additional reassurance or time on the telephone.
- Qualify enquiries and book appointments with the Claims Team.
- Maintain contact with existing customers throughout their journey.
- Keep customer information and CRM records accurate and up to date while providing excellent service without using a hard-sell approach.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a telephone-based customer service, call handling, contact centre or similar role is preferred.
Required Skills
- Naturally warm, patient and empathetic communication style.
- Confident speaking with older customers and people who may require additional support.
- Strong telephone manner with the ability to explain information clearly and simply.
- Able to build trust and rapport quickly.
Preferred Skills
Previous experience within insurance, financial services, healthcare or another customer-focused environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
Pay range and compensation package
Salary negotiable + future bonus structure of up to £2,000 + overtime opportunities. Additional overtime is available, including enhanced rates for Saturdays (overtime is optional).
