FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established automotive dealership with the recruitment of a Car Sales Executive.
Permanent, full-time position based in Workington.
Salary:
£28,000 basic salary + commission, with realistic OTE of £40,000 – £45,000 + additional benefits
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and customer-focused sales professional to join a well-established motor dealership. Previous automotive experience is advantageous but not essential for someone with the right sales ability, personality and willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customer enquiries across face-to-face, telephone and online channels
- Build strong relationships with customers and understand their vehicle requirements
- Present vehicles confidently and explain features and benefits
- Arrange and conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives
- Follow up enquiries and convert opportunities into sales
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records
- Work towards agreed individual and dealership sales targets
- Develop strong product knowledge across the vehicle range
- Deliver a professional and enjoyable customer experience throughout the sales journey
Skills & Experience:
- Previous sales experience would be highly advantageous
- Automotive experience is beneficial but not essential
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Confident dealing with customers face-to-face, over the phone and online
- Positive, professional and customer-focused approach
- Strong IT and digital communication skills
- Interest in vehicles and new automotive technology
- Motivated by targets and earning potential
- Full UK driving licence required
