FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established and growing logistics business with the recruitment of a Business Development Executive - Logistics.
Permanent, full-time position based in Hazel Grove, Greater Manchester.
Salary
From £35,000 basic salary, depending on experience + highly attractive uncapped commission / bonus
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new customers through proactive B2B sales activity
- Generate new business across road freight, logistics and transport services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable freight solutions
- Manage customer bookings from initial enquiry through to completion
- Prepare quotations and follow up opportunities to convert new business
- Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for further growth
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure shipments are managed smoothly
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales pipeline activity
- Work towards and exceed agreed sales and revenue targets
Skills & Experience Requirements
- Previous experience within B2B sales, business development or account management
- Road freight, transport or logistics experience would be highly advantageous
- Proven ability to generate new business and close sales
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Commercially minded and target-driven
- Confident dealing with customers by telephone and email
- Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple accounts
- Motivated by earning potential and uncapped commission
