Permanent, full-time position based in Reigate, Surrey.
Salary
Competitive basic salary + lucrative uncapped commission, with overall earning potential of £33,000 – £70,000 + additional benefits
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Kitchen Sales Designer to join a successful showroom, managing customers through the complete journey from initial consultation and design through to quotation, ordering and installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with customers to understand their requirements, budgets, timescales and design preferences.
- Create attractive and practical kitchen designs and accurate quotations.
- Present designs, product options and recommendations confidently to customers.
- Manage your own sales pipeline and convert enquiries into confirmed orders.
- Guide customers through the full design and sales process from consultation to completion.
- Attend site visits and carry out check measurements where required.
- Identify installation requirements and ensure designs are technically accurate.
- Work closely with ordering, technical and installation teams to ensure projects run smoothly.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers.
- Negotiate and confidently close sales.
- Maintain high standards across the showroom and customer experience.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within kitchen design and sales is required.
- Strong experience using dedicated kitchen design and quotation software.
- Ability to independently produce accurate designs, specifications and quotations.
- Good knowledge of kitchen furniture, worktops, appliances and installation requirements.
- Confident presenting designs and discussing customer budgets.
- Strong sales ability with the confidence to ask for and close the sale.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple customer projects simultaneously.
- Commercially minded with a strong attention to detail.
- Experience selling premium or bespoke kitchens would be highly advantageous.
