Permanent, full-time position based in Devon.
Salary
Negotiable depending on experience + overtime + additional benefits + Company Car
Key Responsibilities
- Service, test and maintain fire and security systems including Fire Detection, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarms.
- Carry out small works installations and system upgrades.
- Diagnose and resolve faults across fire and security systems.
- Work from technical drawings, specifications and wiring diagrams.
- Test and commission systems to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Complete commissioning documentation, certificates and service reports.
- Liaise with clients, site teams and other contractors.
- Provide system demonstrations and handovers where required.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
- Support and mentor junior engineers where appropriate.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience within fire and security servicing or small works.
- Experience across Fire Detection, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
- Comfortable reading technical drawings and specifications.
- Good understanding of networking and IP-based systems.
- Full UK driving licence required.
- Ability to pass full security vetting.
- ECS or CSCS card would be beneficial.
