Location: Middlesbrough
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Salary:
£40,000 – £52,000 OTE
Basic salary + strong commission structure

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and customer-focused sales professional to join a growing used car dealership in Middlesbrough. With significant stock levels and ambitious expansion plans, this role would suit someone who enjoys building rapport, converting enquiries into sales and delivering a first-class customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full customer journey from initial enquiry through to vehicle handover
- Build rapport with customers and understand their requirements
- Handle telephone, online and walk-in enquiries professionally
- Convert enquiries into appointments, viewings and sales opportunities
- Present vehicles confidently and conduct test drives
- Discuss finance and warranty options in line with company procedures
- Negotiate deals professionally and work towards agreed sales targets
- Keep sales paperwork, records and CRM systems up to date
- Work closely with colleagues across sales and aftersales to ensure a smooth handover
- Maintain high standards across vehicle presentation and customer service
Skills & Experience:
- Previous motor trade sales experience would be highly advantageous
- Will also consider strong sales candidates from other customer-facing environments
- Confident communicator, both face-to-face and over the phone
- Target-driven with a commercial mindset
- Strong organisational skills and good follow-up ability
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Passion for cars and a genuine interest in the automotive sector
- Full UK driving licence required
