FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established commercial vehicle business with the recruitment of a Vehicle Sales Executive.
Permanent, full-time position based in Gateshead.
Salary:
From £26,436.80 basic + OTE up to £45,000 + company car + additional benefits
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional to join a growing vehicle sales team. The role would suit someone with previous car or van sales experience who enjoys building relationships, generating new business and delivering a first-class customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell new and used vehicles along with associated products and add-ons
- Manage customer enquiries from telephone, email, online and walk-in sources
- Proactively generate new business through prospecting and other sales activity
- Follow up incoming leads within agreed timescales
- Take customers through the full sales process from initial enquiry to handover
- Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives
- Organise and maintain the new and used vehicle display area
- Build strong long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Achieve agreed sales targets for vehicles and associated products
- Confidently explain vehicle features, specifications and benefits to maximise sales potential
- Negotiate and close deals professionally and effectively
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales administration and completed contracts
- Work closely with colleagues across departments to ensure a smooth customer journey
Skills & Experience:
- Previous vehicle sales, van sales or car sales experience
- Strong sales background with a proven ability to achieve targets
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organised, professional and reliable approach
- Confident using Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Autoline CRM would be advantageous
- Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence required
