FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established precision engineering business with the recruitment of an experienced CNC Milling Programmer / Setter. Permanent , full-time position. This role will be based at the company’s Birmingham site. The business specialises in low-volume and prototype machining, fixtures, specialist components and precision engineering for sectors including aerospace, automotive, medical and nuclear. Salary £18.00–£22.00 per hour, depending on experience regular overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate Working Hours Monday to Thursday: 8:00am–4:30pm Friday: 8:00am–2:00pm Key Responsibilities Programme, set and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machining centres. Produce one-off, prototype and low-volume precision components from engineering drawings. Work confidently with Mazatrol and/or Heidenhain controls. Manufacture components to tight tolerances and required quality standards. Select appropriate tooling, feeds and speeds for each job. Design or manufacture fixtures and jigs where required.
