Location: Middlesbrough
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Salary:
£40,000 – £52,000 OTE
Basic salary + strong commission structure

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and customer-focused sales professional to join a growing used car dealership in Middlesbrough. With significant stock levels and ambitious expansion plans, this role would suit someone who enjoys building rapport, converting enquiries into sales and delivering a first-class customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full customer journey from initial enquiry through to vehicle handover
Build rapport with customers and understand their requirements
Handle telephone, online and walk-in enquiries professionally
Convert enquiries into appointments, viewings and sales opportunities
Present vehicles confidently and conduct test drives
Discuss finance and warranty options in line with company procedures
Negotiate deals professionally and work towards agreed sales targets
Keep sales paperwork, records and CRM systems up to date
Work closely with colleagues across sales and aftersales to ensure a smooth handover
Maintain high standards across vehicle presentation and customer service
Skills & Experience:
Previous motor trade sales experience would be highly advantageous
Will also consider strong sales candidates from other customer-facing environments
Confident communicator, both face-to-face and over the phone
Target-driven with a commercial mindset
Strong organisational skills and good follow-up ability
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Passion for cars and a genuine interest in the automotive sector
Full UK driving licence required
