Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the movement of lifting equipment and associated components to and from sites.
- Plan logistics schedules with operations teams, site supervisors and transport providers.
- Manage transport documentation including permits, route plans and lifting schedules.
- Monitor and track crane movements using logistics and GPS systems.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, delivery times and maintenance schedules.
- Respond to logistics issues, delays and changing site requirements.
- Support procurement and inventory management for crane parts and accessories.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment is ready and available.
- Ensure transport activity complies with health & safety requirements, road regulations and load restrictions.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within logistics, transport coordination or a similar role.
- Experience within cranes, heavy lifting, construction or heavy equipment would be highly advantageous.
- Good understanding of transport planning and regulations.
- Strong organisation and scheduling skills.
- Confident working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Good communication and problem-solving ability.
