Job Description

We are delighted to be representing an inspirational and well respected Cambridge based centre of learning to hire a Technical Construction (Architecture & Built Environment) Lecturer. Our client have outstanding teaching facilities and a reputation for excellence in a number of fields. - Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching and assessment across a range of Technical Construction programmes.
- Ensure all teaching is in line with awarding body requirements to promote student achievement.
- Develop and maintain teaching materials, including handouts, assignments, and electronic resources.
- Prepare Schemes of Work and Schemes of Assessment.
- Carry out moderation, assessment, and verification processes.
- Provide tutorial guidance to students, track and review their progress, and communicate feedback to learners, parents/guardians, and employers.
- Maintain industrial links and professional development within the Technical Construction sector.
- Industry experience within the Technical Constructionsector.
- A minimum Level 5 vocational qualification in a Construction area.
- Ability to deliver inspirational teaching to learners of varying ages and abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to student success and development.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain one).
- Experience in assessing and verifying vocational qualifications.
- Familiarity with integrating core skills such as Maths and English into vocational learning.
