Job Description

Staff Nurse – RMN – Mental Health Hospital Woking, Surrey £34,164 – £36,585 Hours: 37.5 | Permanent | Full-time The Hospital: A private, well-established hospital offering acute mental health and addictions services to both inpatients and day patients. The site includes extensive private outpatient clinics and is set in a peaceful countryside location within reach of central London and key transport links. The Role: The team is seeking an RMN to deliver high-quality, compassionate care across general psychiatric and addictions treatment pathways. This role offers a great opportunity for an RMN looking to broaden their clinical experience in a well-supported environment. Core Responsibilities:
  • Provide therapeutic, recovery-focused care in collaboration with the MDT
  • Lead on care planning, keyworker responsibilities, and medication administration
  • Support discharge planning and clinical risk assessments
  • Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to a positive ward culture
  • Participate in handovers, incident reporting, and clinical meetings

About You:

  • NMC-registered RMN
  • Strong communication skills and a calm, supportive presence
  • Comfortable using digital systems for notes and care planning
  • Experience from NHS or private mental health settings
