How to prepare for a job interview at Find.

Know Your Stuff

Make sure you brush up on your technical skills related to carpentry, plumbing, and general maintenance. Be ready to discuss specific projects you've worked on and how you tackled challenges. This will show that you’re not just experienced but also proactive in your approach.

Safety First

Since the role involves ensuring safety in a school environment, be prepared to talk about your knowledge of health and safety regulations. Familiarise yourself with CSCS, IOSH, or NEBOSH standards, and be ready to give examples of how you've implemented safety measures in past roles.

Show Your Organisational Skills

The job requires managing multiple tasks and contractors, so highlight your organisational abilities. Share examples of how you've successfully managed projects or schedules, especially during busy periods like school holidays. This will demonstrate your ability to keep everything running smoothly.

Be a Team Player

Even though the role requires working independently, teamwork is key in a school setting. Talk about your experience collaborating with others, whether it’s coordinating with contractors or working alongside staff to ensure a safe environment. This shows you can adapt and communicate effectively.
