Registered Manager – Complex NeedsLocation: Burton Upon TrentSalary: £42,000 + BonusBrand new service – opening August 2025 An established care provider is seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to lead a small Complex Needs/Learning Disabilities service. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to oversee the service and ensure the highest standards of care. The successful candidate will be supported by a Deputy Manager and a Regional Management team. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership to the care team, ensuring the delivery of person-centred care tailored to individual needs and preferences.
- Oversee all aspects of the home's operations, including staffing, budget management, and regulatory compliance, to maintain the highest standards of safety and care.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and empowerment, ensuring each resident receives compassionate and high-quality care.
- Conduct regular care needs assessments and develop comprehensive care plans alongside multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitor care quality through audits, evaluations, and feedback mechanisms, driving continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Stay up to date with developments in mental health care practices, legislation, and regulations, ensuring full compliance with industry standards.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 5 or Diploma in Health and Social Care Management.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a complex needs care setting, with a deep understanding of Learning Disabilities.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating and inspiring a diverse team of professionals.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices, including CQC standards and the Mental Health Act.
- A compassionate, person-centred approach with a commitment to promoting dignity, rights, and well-being.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage competing priorities effectively.
- IT proficiency, including experience with care management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
