I'm working with a small care provider who are looking for an experienced Quality & Compliance Manager to support a number of elderly care services across their group. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with Home Managers, driving improvement, and ensuring high standards of care are maintained across multiple homes.
The Role
You will take the lead on all aspects of quality, compliance and governance, working alongside Home Managers to support positive outcomes, maintain standards, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. The role offers a mix of operational support, auditing, safeguarding oversight and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for regulatory inspections and compliance matters
- Support services with inspections, action plans and maintaining strong quality standards
- Lead on safeguarding investigations, complaints and whistleblowing concerns
- Oversee key clinical governance areas including medication management, falls, infection control and resident safety
- Carry out regular quality audits across services and monitor progress against improvement plans
- Maintain oversight of quality, compliance and risk across the group
- Work closely with Home Managers to ensure a consistent approach to governance and best practice
- Share lessons learned from incidents, complaints and inspections to drive ongoing improvement
- Keep up to date with changes in legislation, regulations and sector guidance
- Support group-wide quality improvement projects and initiatives
About You
- Strong background in quality, compliance, governance or operational management within adult social care
- Good understanding of regulatory standards and safeguarding requirements
- Experience supporting multiple services would be advantageous
- Confident communicator who can build positive relationships with both operational teams and external stakeholders
- Strong report writing, auditing and analytical skills
- Relevant health and social care qualification desirable
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between services
