We are recruiting on behalf of a training provider who are looking for an experienced Plumber or Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join their team as a Plumbing Tutor, delivering training in Plumbing up to Level 3 alongside Core Domestic Gas qualifications at their Orpington training centre.

This is a fantastic opportunity to move off the tools and into education, helping develop the next generation of plumbers and gas engineers.

No previous teaching experience is required, as full training and a funded teaching qualification will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver classroom and practical workshop training in Plumbing up to Level 3 and Core Domestic Gas.
  • Teach apprentices and adult learners, supporting them throughout their programme.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging theory and practical lessons.
  • Assess learner progress and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Ensure training is delivered in line with awarding body and industry standards.
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Background as a Plumber, Plumbing & Heating Engineer or Domestic Gas Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of Plumbing and Core Domestic Gas.
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills.
  • No teaching qualification required. Full training and a funded teaching qualification will be provided.
  • Salary & Benefits
  • Salary from £40,000, rising to £45,500 once qualified.
  • London Weighting available depending on where you live.
