I’m working with an independent training provider who are looking to bring in a Gas Trainer to support delivery across their Managed Learning Programmes (MLP).

The role involves:

  • Delivering gas training to adult learners on intensive MLP/bootcamp-style programmes (typically 8–16 weeks).
  • Teaching from entry level, covering core domestic gas areas including CCN1, CENWAT, MET1 and related ACS elements.
  • Supporting learners through theory, practical training and initial ACS assessments.
  • Preparing learners to progress into the industry, where they will complete their on-site portfolio and gain experience.
  • A mix of practical workshop delivery and classroom-based learning.

What they’re looking for:

  • Strong domestic gas background.
  • Current or previously held ACS (CCN1, CENWAT etc.).
  • Open to tutors, trainers, lecturers or engineers looking to move into teaching.
  • Teaching/assessing qualifications beneficial but not essential.
