The Opportunity

Are you an experienced electrician looking for a new challenge away from the tools? Or already working as an Electrical Assessor, Trainer or Training Officer and looking for a fresh opportunity? This role is ideal for both:

You'll play a key role in developing the next generation of electricians - supporting apprentices throughout their journey, from onboarding through to End Point Assessment.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Electrical Training Officer / Apprenticeship Coach, you'll manage a caseload of electrical apprentices and support them through their learning journey. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and supporting a caseload of apprentices in the workplace
  • Carrying out regular reviews, assessments, and progress tracking
  • Assessing evidence against industry standards (NVQ / NOS)
  • Providing clear feedback, coaching, and setting SMART targets
  • Preparing apprentices for gateway and End Point Assessment (EPA)
  • Identifying learners at risk and putting support plans in place
