I’m working with a training provider who are looking to bring in a qualified Track Safety Trainer to support delivery across their rail safety programmes.
The role
- Deliver track safety training to apprentices and existing rail professionals
- Deliver courses such as PTS and other core track safety competencies
- Deliver IOSH training as part of the wider safety offering
- Support both initial training and upskilling programmes
- Deliver a mix of classroom and practical-based sessions
- Support learners through training, assessments and progression
What they’re looking for
- Strong background in rail track safety (PTS, COSS or similar)
- Must be able to deliver IOSH training
- Must hold a recognised teaching qualification (AET / PTLLS / CTLLS / DTLLS / DET or equivalent)
- Assessor qualification desirable (TAQA / A1 / equivalent)
- Experience delivering training or working in an instructional capacity
- Comfortable delivering to groups
- Willingness to travel as required
