We’re working with a growing training provider in South London looking to bring in a Construction Trainer to support delivery across Entry Level 3 and Level 1 learners. This is a great opportunity to join a new centre with clear progression as it develops.

The role:

  • Deliver basic construction training across multiple trades: Carpentry, Plumbing, Brickwork, Electrical basics
  • Teaching Entry Level 3 and Level 1 learners
  • Working with SEN pupils and learners with additional needs
  • Mix of practical, hands-on sessions and classroom support
  • Currently 3 days per week delivery (full-time role, scope to grow)

  • Background: Construction experience across one or more trades
  • Comfortable delivering basic, practical skills
  • Person: Strong personality — engaging, patient, able to manage behaviour; good with SEN learners / adaptable teaching style
  • Qualifications: Teaching qualification desirable (AET or similar); will consider industry candidates looking to move into training
