We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join a welcoming and well-established nursing home in the heart of Chipping Norton. The home provides high-quality nursing, residential, and dementia care within a calm and supportive environment that prioritises dignity, independence, and person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing personal care in line with individual care plans (washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support)
  • Supporting residents with nutrition and hydration, including assistance at mealtimes
  • Promoting independence, choice, and dignity in all aspects of care
  • Building positive relationships with residents and their families
  • Observing and reporting any changes in residents’ physical or emotional wellbeing
  • Supporting activities and social engagement within the home
  • Working collaboratively with nurses and senior care staff to maintain high standards of care
  • Ensuring accurate documentation and communication within the care team
About You
  • Caring, compassionate, and patient
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Able to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Respectful of residents’ dignity and individual needs
  • Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential, as full training can be provided
  • A good communicator with a genuine passion for supporting older people
