The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Psychologist (Counselling, Forensic, Educational or Clinical) to join a specialist school-based setting in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team, supporting children and young people with a range of complex needs in a structured and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver psychological assessments and interventions for children and young people
- Work collaboratively with education staff and clinical teams
- Contribute to EHCP assessments and reviews
- Provide both formal therapy sessions and informal support within the school setting
- Support staff with behavioural and emotional strategies
- Maintain accurate clinical records and reports
Requirements
- Qualified Psychologist (Counselling, Clinical, Educational or Forensic)
- HCPC registration
- Experience working with children or young people (e.g. schools, CAMHS, SEN settings)
- Understanding of needs such as autism, ADHD, trauma, anxiety, or complex behaviours
- Strong team working and communication skills
