I’m working with a training provider who are looking to bring in a qualified Track Safety Trainer to support delivery across their rail safety programmes.

The role:

  • Deliver track safety training to apprentices and existing rail professionals
  • Deliver courses such as PTS and other core track safety competencies
  • Deliver IOSH training as part of the wider safety offering
  • Support both initial training and upskilling programmes
  • Deliver a mix of classroom and practical-based sessions
  • Support learners through training, assessments and progression

What they’re looking for:

  • Strong background in rail track safety (PTS, COSS or similar)
  • Must be able to deliver IOSH training
  • Must hold a recognised teaching qualification (AET / PTLLS / CTLLS / DTLLS / DET or equivalent)
  • Assessor qualification desirable (TAQA / A1 / equivalent)
  • Experience delivering training or working in an instructional capacity
  • Comfortable delivering to groups
  • Willingness to travel as required
