If you already deliver electrical training, assess apprentices, or run commercial courses such as 18th Edition and Inspection & Testing, this is an opportunity to join a well-established training environment where quality delivery and learner outcomes are the priority.

You will be responsible for developing skilled, work-ready electricians through structured teaching, assessment, and ongoing learner support across both apprenticeship and commercial programmes.

This role is primarily centre-based in Birmingham, with occasional travel to support delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver structured training to electrical apprentices and commercial learners across programmes including 18th Edition and Level 3 Inspection & Testing
  • Manage learner progress, ensuring timely achievement and high success rates
  • Assess learner work, provide detailed feedback, and maintain accurate assessment records
  • Adapt delivery methods to suit different learning styles and maximise engagement
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of course materials and delivery methods
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and qualification changes

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure all delivery aligns with awarding body and internal quality standards
  • Participate in internal quality assurance processes and respond to feedback
  • Maintain accurate learner records, including attendance, progress, and outcomes
  • Support audit and inspection activity when required

Learner Support & Safeguarding

  • Provide ongoing pastoral support to learners throughout their programme
  • Promote a safe, inclusive learning environment and adhere to safeguarding requirements
  • Address learner concerns or welfare issues promptly and professionally

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong working relationships with employers and stakeholders
  • Respond effectively to queries, feedback, and training needs
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to support learner progression and programme delivery

Essential Requirements

  • Level 3 Electrical qualification (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Level 3 Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent)
