Guest Krieger Ltd is a long-established, independent, specialist Lloyd's insurance broker. We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Technician to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone new or just starting out in the insurance industry, as full training will be provided!

As an Insurance Technician with Guest Krieger, you will provide technical and administrative support to the broking team and assist in managing clients' insurance requirements. This role is ideal for someone relatively new to the Insurance Market, with full training to ensure you gain the necessary skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Responding to incoming enquiries from clients, insurers, and third parties professionally and promptly.
  • Collaborating with the non-marine broking team to understand and translate clients' insurance needs into slip details.
  • Preparing slips and endorsements on the Xchanging Brokasure Enterprise system, including producing Tax Schedules on TMF.
  • Learning to load and track slips and endorsements in the PPL system.
  • Processing transactions and producing documents such as evidence of cover, amendments, invoices, and premium adjustments.
  • Monitoring the placement process to ensure Contract Certainty and FCA deadlines are met.
  • Communicating with insurers and third parties regarding client insurance administration.
  • Peer reviewing formal documents before sending to clients.
  • Providing ongoing technical and administrative support, staying updated on regulatory changes and market developments.
  • Assisting with multinational accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of the insurance industry, ideally with 1-2 years of experience in London Markets.
  • Experience in Financial Lines is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage workload efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills.
  • A-levels or equivalent.
