The role
Contribute to the business goals by supporting the company’s marketing & PR plans for SMEs across all channels, driving leads and revenue growth for the Handepay cards business.
The responsibilities
- Support the strategy and execution of the company’s marketing & PR plan for Handepay merchants that positions the business as the leading brand in the sector to help SME businesses grow and drives leads and sales growth.
- Work closely with the Handepay management team to achieve business objectives, revenue targets and proactively contribute to divisional success.
- Support the execution of social media and content marketing activity for Handepay, including blog posts, articles, white papers, and infographics.
- Support development and management of the Handepay website.
- Provide regular and consistent reporting of marketing activity and results in order to measure effectiveness and ensure that company activity is in line with envisaged strategic direction.
- Brand ownership, ensure brands are expressed in a consistent way internally across all touchpoints.
- Support delivery of PR strategy with day-to-day management of overall PR and communications for the Handepay audiences.
- Manage relationship with external agencies/suppliers.
- Work alongside relevant business partners and Finance team to ensure correct tracking and accountability across all marketing budgets. Manage the marketing team to deliver detail, planning and reconciliation across their budget areas.
About you
Essential requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in marketing.
- Positive, self-starter attitude and desire to learn.
- Experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns across a variety of channels, including digital, social, and print.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Advantageous experience:
- Previous experience within the convenience retail/SME sectors.
- Previous experience of working with Umbraco, Salesforce Account Engage and MailChimp.
- Degree, recognised marketing qualification or relevant industry experience.

Job type
Permanent, Monday to Friday. Our contracted working hours are 36.25 per week Monday to Friday 9am-5.15pm. The role requires 4 days a week in the Haydock office, with flexibility to work from home 1 day per week.
