We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a respected private rehabilitation centre based in Woking, for an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join their specialist Eating Disorder Unit on a visiting basis. This is a flexible, sessional opportunity suited to a Consultant Psychiatrist with a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a well-established and supportive multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert psychiatric input and clinical leadership to the eating disorder unit
- Conduct assessments, formulate treatment plans and review care for service users
- Work collaboratively with psychologists, therapists, dietitians and nursing staff
- Contribute to the development of service standards and patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Full GMC registration and inclusion on the Specialist Register for Psychiatry
- CCT in General Adult Psychiatry or Eating Disorders (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in managing eating disorder cases in inpatient or residential settings
- Strong communication, clinical and leadership skills
