FIND are delighted to be supporting a well established and growing training provider to hire a Residential Childcare Apprenticeship Tutor. Our client delivers high-quality apprenticeships and training solutions designed to help individuals and businesses develop skills, expand knowledge, and drive success. With a strong reputation for excellence, we work closely with employers to create tailored training programmes that meet the demands of today's evolving workforce.

Role Focus

The role is home based with visits to our training centres in Walsall and Cannock to deliver face to face lessons as required and visits to settings delivering 1:1 or in groups. Our Tutors deliver impactful residential childcare apprenticeship standards at levels 4 and 5. The role will involve supporting learners both remotely and in person by visiting them in their workplaces in the Staffordshire and West Midlands areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the planning and delivery of teaching, learning and assessment that engages and challenges learners to develop new skills and knowledge.
  • Act as subject matter expert, advising and guiding learners through their qualification and beyond through the application and sharing of knowledge, understanding and experience.
  • Accountable for the learner achievement, continuously reviewing and tracking learner progress and developing action plans to ensure consistent and positive success rates and timely completion across your caseload.
  • Build trusted relationships with learners from the initial point of contact and maintain this relationship and contact throughout learning. Acting with the learner at the heart of decision making, support learners with CIAG, welfare and pastoral care.

Requirements

  • Strong Occupational Competency within Residential Childcare (Essential)
  • Full UK driving license (Essential)
  • PTLLS/A1 Assessor/Equivalent qualified (Desirable)
