Monday–Friday | Independent Training Provider

I’m partnering with a well-established Independent Training Provider in Preston who are looking to add a Plumbing Tutor to their team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced plumber who wants to step off the tools and move into a stable, rewarding teaching role or for an existing trainer looking for a new environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Delivering City & Guilds Plumbing (Level 1–3) to apprentices
  • Teaching both practical workshop skills and underpinning theory
  • Supporting learners from enrolment through to completion
  • Using existing schemes of work and resources to plan and deliver engaging sessions
  • Working closely with the wider delivery team to maintain high training standards

No teaching experience? No problem. If you’re a qualified plumber with solid industry experience, the provider will fully fund your teaching qualifications and give you all the training you need to step confidently into the role.

Already a trainer or assessor? Perfect — this is a strong step if you’re open to a move or want to join a supportive, growing provider.

What they’re offering:

  • Salary up to £43,500 (depending on experience)
  • Annual salary reviews
  • Performance-related bonuses
  • Monday to Friday — no weekends, no callouts
  • Fully funded teaching/assessing qualifications
  • Progression opportunities as the team grows

What they’re looking for:

  • Qualified Plumber (NVQ Level 3 / C&G equivalent)
  • Strong hands-on plumbing experience
  • A passion for developing the next generation
  • Teaching/training experience is welcome but not essential
