About the role

I’m working with an engineering training provider in Hull who are looking to bring an experienced Mechanical Engineer off the tools and into a training role OR an experienced teacher.

The position is mainly workshop-based, delivering practical training to Level 3 engineering apprentices across areas such as:

  • PPM & reactive maintenance
  • Lathes & milling machines
  • Hydraulics & pneumatics
  • Safe use of hand tools
  • General mechanical maintenance practices

Monday to Friday role based mainly in Hull, with occasional travel to other training centres when needed.

No previous teaching experience required — full training, teaching qualifications and support provided.

Salary between £39,000 - £41,000 plus strong annual leave entitlement, pension and additional benefits.

  • Level 3 qualified in Mechanical Engineering
  • Industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience
