FIND are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well established and growing Training provider to hire a Residential Childcare Apprenticeship Tutor. Based from home with some travel across the Yorkshire area to visit apprentices in their workplace setting, the successful candidate will deliver Level 4 & 5 Apprenticeships to learners in the Residential Childcare sector. Established in 2000, our client has over 25 years of experience established partnerships to offer a variety of apprenticeships, education, bespoke training, and skills qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the planning and delivery of teaching, learning and assessment that engages and challenges learners to develop new skills and knowledge.
- Act as subject matter expert, advising and guiding learners through their qualification and beyond through the application and sharing of knowledge, understanding and experience.
- Accountable for the learner achievement, continuously reviewing and tracking learner progress and developing action plans to ensure consistent and positive success rates and timely completion across your caseload.
- Build trusted relationships with learners from the initial point of contact and maintain this relationship and contact throughout learning.
- Acting with the learner at the heart of decision making, support learners with CIAG, welfare and pastoral care.
Requirements
- Strong Occupational Competency or qualifications within Residential Childcare (Essential)
- Full UK driving license (Essential)
- A recognised Teaching Qualification e.g. PTLLS, Certificate in Education, D32/33, A1, CAVA or equivalent
