I’m supporting a well-established automotive training provider who are looking for a Fleet Assistant to join their operations team. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with vehicles, keeping things organised, and supporting a busy training centre.

The Role

You’ll help manage and maintain a fleet of training vehicles, ensuring they’re clean, prepared and ready for daily use by instructors and learners. It’s a hands-on, practical role that keeps the entire training operation running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing vehicles each day (cleaning/valeting, fuelling, charging, positioning)
  • Moving vehicles safely around site
  • Conducting visual checks and reporting issues
  • Maintaining fleet condition when not in use
  • Supporting upkeep of display and demonstration vehicles
  • Logging fuel receipts and maintaining stock levels
  • Working closely with the wider operations and training teams

What they’re looking for

  • Full UK driving licence held for at least 2 years
  • Confident driving a range of vehicles
  • Valeting or vehicle-prep experience (desirable)
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive, flexible approach
  • Basic vehicle knowledge
  • Experience in automotive, fleet, rental, dealership or training settings is a bonus
