We are working with a well-established training provider who are looking to appoint an Engineering Caseload Manager to support and guide apprentices across Maintenance & Operations Engineering Technician (MOET) Level 3 and Electrical Engineering standards. An Electrical maintenance background is strongly preferred.

This is a great opportunity for either:

  • An experienced, qualified apprenticeship assessor, or
  • A time-served Electrical Maintenance Engineer ready to step away from the tools and move into training (full support and qualifications provided).

The Role

You will manage a caseload of Maintenance Engineering apprentices, acting as their main point of contact throughout their apprenticeship journey. From induction through to EPA preparation, you will ensure learners stay engaged, supported and on track to succeed.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing and supporting a caseload of Level 3 Engineering apprentices
  • Delivering training, coaching and mentoring (workplace & remote)
  • Supporting learners with portfolio building, evidence gathering and EPA readiness
  • Working closely with employers to align training with workplace activity
  • Conducting reviews, progress checks and assessments
  • Identifying and resolving barriers to learning early
  • Liaising with internal quality and curriculum teams to maintain high standards

What We Are Looking For:

  • Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Electrical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering or a closely related discipline
  • Strong industry experience, ideally within Electrical Maintenance / Engineering
  • Open to: Already qualified Assessors / Trainers, or Engineers looking to transition from industry into training
  • Assessor / teaching qualifications (TAQA, CAVA, AET, etc.) are desirable but not essential
  • Confident communicator with a genuine passion for developing apprentices
  • Knowledge of UK engineering apprenticeship standards (or willingness to learn)

Why Apply?

  • Competitive salary of £41,500 - £44,500
  • Fully supported transition into training if coming from industry
  • Secure role with a reputable training provider
  • Opportunity to shape the next generation of Electrical & Maintenance Engineers
  • Reduced physical demands compared to hands-on engineering roles

Unfortunately, sponsorship isn’t available for this particular role so you must already reside in the UK and hold full Right to work to be considered.
