Are you an experienced Deputy Manager with a nursing background (RGN or RMN) looking to take the next step in your career? We’re seeking a passionate and skilled Clinical Deputy Manager to join our dedicated team and help lead the delivery of outstanding care within our service.
As Deputy Manager, you\’ll play a vital role in overseeing clinical operations, supporting the Home Manager, and ensuring our residents receive the highest standards of care. Whether you\’re an RGN or RMN, your leadership will be key in guiding our nursing and care teams, promoting best practice, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
What You\’ll Be Doing as Deputy Manager
- Leading clinical care across the home, ensuring safety, dignity, and excellence in every aspect of service delivery
- Managing medication protocols and clinical governance to maintain compliance and quality
- Coaching and mentoring staff to uphold care standards and encourage professional development
- Supporting the Home Manager with resource planning, budgeting, and operational strategy
- Acting as Deputy Manager in the Home Manager\’s absence, ensuring seamless continuity of care and leadership
- Driving a positive, learning-focused culture across the clinical team
What We\’re Looking For
- A qualified RGN or RMN with a valid NMC registration
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role—such as Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, or Senior Nurse
- Strong understanding of CQC standards and the five pillars of quality care: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well-Led
- A proactive, compassionate leader who thrives in a team-focused environment
